Toshiba 32HL67U great LCD HDTV
Compared various 32" LCD HDTVs at Best Buy, Circuit City, and Walmart - this Toshiba model stood out over others (seriously considered Sonys and Samsungs). Received a great price thru amazon, fast ship, and a great product. Better than expected in terms of standard resolution and capabilities.

Toshiba 32HL67U GREAT GAMING LCD
The design is beautiful. It is very sleek and modern. Very good LCD picture for televison use. I have not tried to see what the picture looks like with the HD hook up but I can amagine that it will look awesome. Playing video games is the primary use for the LCD. The XBOX 360 Elite looks AWESOME with the HDMI hook up. Colors and picture amazing to watch. The great thing about this Toshiba is that it has more than one HDMI input which means you can plug in a dvd player, HD cable or satellite box and for fun a XBOX 360 or PS3 if you have one. Basically whatever you have that has HDMI outputs will look and sound great with this model. It also has all the other input devices like componet, composite, S-Video and digital audio inputs. It very easy to use and setup. The remote control has all the usual buttons to navigate around. By far a great value in the line up of 32" LCD's in the market.

Toshiba 32HL67U Big bang for your buck
My wife and I shopped around, and we kept coming back to the Toshiba 32HL67U. I'm extremely glad we chose it.
We were about to buy this TV at a department store, but they sold out minutes before we got there. So we waited, and found it cheaper online the next day - the total with shipping was $738, and many places list this LCD TV for $1,000.
It took only four days to arrive - just in time for poker night. My buddies were wowed by how great the Packers-Jaguars preseason game looked on the HD Fox channel. One helmet-jarring hit drew oohs and aahs from them, and had me beaming.
Now for the nitty gritty: This TV is probably the best budget LCD HDTV on the market right now. We did a lot of research and read a million reviews, and almost everything told us this is a great TV for the price - and it is.
The picture on HD channels is phenomenally clear and detailed. It's like you're on the field in football games, and even a simple gameshow like Jeopardy had me staring with my mouth open because it looked so sharp on the HD channel.
The key was that I got an HDMI cord free from my cable TV provider. It's the highest quality connection (both video and audio go through it), and I saved a bundle thanks to the department store clerk who told me about this free hook-up - all you have to do is ask the cable company for it.
Another trick we used was to purchase the TV with a credit card that automatically doubles the manufacturer's one-year warranty. That saved us about $150 in extended warranty fees. Of course, we plan to pay it off before the interest comes due.
DVD movies and video games look great on the 32HL67U, too. Just make sure you get the five-prong component cables to take advantage of what the TV can do.
Another big bonus is the TV has three HDMI ports, two sets of component ports and three sets of regular three-prong A/V ports (two on the back, one on the side). You can even use it as a giant monitor for your computer.
The setup menus are slick and easy to use. It took a long time and a lot of tweaking to get the settings to my liking, but it wasn't difficult. Even a non-techno-savvy person could do it.
An excellent feature is Stable Sound, which prevents commercials from blaring louder than the program you were just watching. It keeps sound at the same level. This is off by default, so make sure to turn it on.
The TV's few drawbacks are that the non-HD channels don't look very good, and there's no picture-in-picture. But I won't quibble over such minor things. This is, after all, a budget LCD HDTV. And we couldn't be happier with it.

Toshiba 32HL67U Great Buy
Amazon's price was the best I've seen for this model. Received this TV on November 6. Eagle delivered earlier than the stated time (great!) with no problems. Setup: You have to rest the TV on its face on a soft surface to add the stand which you must assemble (easy). You should have an extra set of hands to lift the TV (not heavy but the set is wide). There is a slight delay after you click the power button. So you have to remember to wait a few seconds before it powers on. The picture right out of the box is excellent. Haven't needed to make any adjustments. The audio quality is adequate, but at this stage of the game, you are probably going to add your own speaker setup (easy). The connections for HD (color coded), DVD and cable, etc. are pretty clear. Most are located at the back of the set. The menus are relatively easy to navigate. I am more than satified with this product.

Toshiba 32HL67U Amazing value
I researched just about every 32" LCD I could find for about 2 weeks, and I was just about ready to buy a Samsung when I just happened to notice this TV. The first thing that drew me in was the price -- $780 was too hard to pass by. Then I noticed that I did not hear one bad thing about it, so I decided to go with it.
Let me just say that it was an amazing decision, as this TV has so much to offer for its price. Sure, it's not quite as sharp as some of the 1080i LCDs or plasmas for about $2,000, but you've got to be realistic about it. This TV costs literally less than half of that. Plus I just can't get over the fact that it not only has 3 HDMI inputs, it's also got a PC input which is awesome. I had been using S-Video to connect to my TV before... this is a drastic difference.
All in all it has a great picture, it looks awesome, and it's at an amazing price.

Toshiba 32HL67U Easily the best HDTV I've ever owned.

Easily the best HDTV I've ever owned., November 15, 2007
I currently own some Sony Bravias in addition to a 32 inch sharp aquos and one of the much hyped Samsung HDTVs. I've had the opportunity to compare this thing to all these other HDTVs and I think this one for the price, in my opinion, not only matches the quality of all those other HDTVs, but I think it actually exceeds them in some instances.
I see no signs of ghosting or bleeding on this television. The colors are some of the best I've seen from any HDTV. The picture quality is truly stunning and it has some of the best black levels I've seen with an HDTV. I use it with my Xbox 360, PS3, HD-DVD player and hi-definition Cable Television and it really does enhance the experience ten fold. I've gone back to play older 360 titles that I put down long ago just to see how great they look on the television and you truly see with this television what all the fuss is about with HDTVS.
For people that may play their Xbox 360s on a computer monitor you see all sorts of details on this HDTV that you simply didn't see well enough on a pc monitor or totally missed altogether on even other HDTVS which is a testament to how great this television set is.
Standard definition channels on this television look great and the HD channels are incredible. You get your moneys worth because its immediately obvious that they blow away the standard definition channels. The television also has fantastic sound quality which I didn't expect. The options to adjust the picture how you want aren't as plentiful as some other HDTVs I've used, but that doesn't matter because I think what is there will allow you to adjust the picture to pretty much anyone's preference.
Colors and details in hi-definition content really shine through on this television. You look at things that you didn't use to make a big deal about before like clothing, skin, floors, walls etc in a totally different way when you are looking at them on this television.
My only complaint is that its so unbelievably tempting to constantly play around with the picture settings even after they are already perfect.
Its fully equipped with 3 HDMI ports, connection for your PC, 2 HD component spaces, and a plethora of others that I'm sure you can find out about just by looking at the technical details of the television. It supports 480i all the way up to 1080p (1080p only through HDMI)
Its recommended you connect this HDTV to a PC by using a DVI to HDMI cable as that way you are guaranteed decent resolutions for your pc while viewing it on this HDTV.
The remote pretty much sucks as a Universal Remote. It lacks support for even the most popular of cable boxes or directv receivers. The same applies to other televisions. If you're going to use this remote only for this television then its perfect.
The picture settings I use and like a lot are
Contrast 100
Backlight 84
Dynalight on
Brightness 56
Color 51
Tint 0
Sharpness 72
Dynamic Contrast High
Static Gamma +1
Color Temperature Medium
MPEG Noise Reduction Middle
DNR Middle
I use these settings I really like how the details just pop on this set when the settings are like this. The Backlight, Contrast and Dynalight are especially big contributers to how I like viewing things on this set.
Fantastic manual that pretty much explains all you need to know. Nothing, but great things to say about this HDTV.

Toshiba 32HL67U Made the right choice
For the price and the features, this TV kept coming out at the top of my list. We've had it for a few weeks now and I have to say I'm very happy. It has 3 HDMI inputs (one is HDCP) as well as a slew of other inputs for S-video, composite and VGA. Audio is fine for when we don't want the home theatre on and the pass-through means we can get audio to the home theatre system no matter where the input came from. The glossy body is very sexy and the screen has a nice matte look when it's not on.
I'm very happy with the TV and if I were to have to come up with something I don't like, I guess it's that the legs stick out quite a bit in the front (for balance) which means you need to push it back a bit further than you might want if it's inside a unit. But that's a small small gripe and if it really bothers me, I can get a VESA mount and change it as it has standard VESA holes in back.
